Li Qingwen pointed out that at the same time, parents should also understand the laws of children's growth and development, and help them choose the right sports according to their children's age stage and characteristics.

"There is a sensitive period for children's growth and development, which is also known as the critical period." Li Qingwen said that almost every sports quality has a relatively fast period of development, grasping the sensitive period of the development of a certain sports quality, and training according to the situation, we can develop this quality faster, so as to achieve twice the effect with half the effort.

In the early stage of the child's early childhood (1 to 3 years old) and early childhood (3 to 6 years old), the focus should be on comprehensive physical exercise, so it is more suitable to participate in physical exercise.

Li Qingwen introduced that children's physical exercise is a training project developed in recent years, it will design action patterns according to different stages of development, which can improve children's sports performance, promote children's physical health, prevent children's posture abnormalities in the process of growth and development (such as scoliosis, etc.), and also cultivate children's sports interests and habits.

Children's physical training is generally designed according to the age group (starting from 3 years old, every 1 to 1.5 years old, to 12 years old), and some training institutions can accept children as little as 2.5 years old to participate in physical training.

Younger children can only perform simple coordination and balance exercises (such as crawling, etc.) or participate in group games with bare hands. The physical training course at the age of 3 to 6 will gradually begin to carry out comprehensive exercises, such as nerve recruitment ability, sensitive coordination, muscle strength and explosiveness, etc., focusing on basic movement mode exercises and motor skill exercises.

For children between the ages of 3 and 6, there are some introductory exercises that can be taken into account. For example, 4- to 5-year-olds can begin to touch racket, basic dribbling, etc. in ball games.

"It is generally not recommended that children aged 3 to 6 years old exercise mainly with special exercises, one-sided pursuit of individual training results, and ignoring the characteristics of physical development. If the training intensity is too large, resulting in injuries and illnesses caused by the inability of the body to adapt, it will affect the growth and development and healthy growth of children. Li Qingwen said that the development of one aspect of children's bodies cannot be ignored for the sake of another, which is not in line with the law of children's growth and development.

Children over 6 years old can choose more sports, especially after primary school, you can combine the physical test report, targeted exercises, and choose special exercises according to the characteristics of children's physical fitness.
